the last operation caused an internal error in PowerShape standard on startup

Every time I start PowerShape, I get that error.  I've logged in as admin, deleted ALL the _models, even deleted and recreated the MASTER MODEL.  Once I am in, I can open a new model without any error.  So my thought was to do that, delete the MASTER MODEL, and save the non error model as the MASTER.  Nope, same error message.  If I was able to keep the software open, it really wouldn't be an issue, but with a restricted number of licenses, I am repeatedly closing and reopening the software, only to see that message pop up 2 to 3 times while the software loads.  Any ideas forum?

Hi @csaragaglia

Thank you for placing your query on Autodesk Community.

As I understand: When PowerShape is opened, the pop-up  displayes the warning message "The last operation caused an internal error in Autodesk PowerShape".

To remove the warning pop-up, do the following:

  1. Remove the parts and shareddb folders from the path: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk
  2. Unzip the attached Autodesk.rar folder.
  3. Copy parts and shareddb folders.
  4. Paste the folders at path: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk
  5. Launch PowerShape.

Please accept the solution button if my post fully solves your issue or reply with additional details if the problem persists.

Suryakant, thank you, I'll try it.  Can you send a zip instead of a rar.  I can't open rar.

Thank you @suryakant.nirala

I've tried to follow your path, I have no "documents" folder in the

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk

I have a public documents, but there is no autodesk folder in there.  See attached screen shot.  Running windows 7.

@suryakant.nirala, I do have a Delcam folder in the public documents folder with the parts, and shareddb folders.  Is that the one?

Hi @csaragaglia

In your attached snapshot,

1. Open C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Autodesk

Note:- If you don't have Autodesk Folder in above location

2. Open C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Delcam

Follow the steps to overcome the warning message.
