We're looking at winding down operations, and obviously won't have an Autodesk subscription after that happens. 99% of our customers never ask for models, they only want the end product. I currently have my PSmodel files, DGK files, Powemill sessions, and NC programs.
I'm just thinking about what I should do with all the data from the last DECADES.
As far as saving the files, that's not really a problem, hard drives are cheap. What I'm wondering is should I go back and create STEP?files? for the most recent parts? How far back? Maybe create them from the DGK files that I used for Powermill? Odds are whoever might use this data in the future to duplicate or repair any of my work won't have PowerShape and PowerMill.
I'd appreciate your thoughts.
