Hello everybody,

I would like to ask a question, Why doesn't the tool path respect the block?

alexbrolli_2-1702213001002.png

With the stock model the result is the same

Wouldn't this option be for the powermill to read the residue in 3D?

Is there any way for the tool path to read the block in 3D?

The file is annexed ,

Classical PowerMill behavior, one of the weak spots of PowerMill. I recommend always having automatic collision checking activated in all your templates and using tools with correctly modeled holders. Always expect toolpaths leaking downwards and use a Zmin limit. It doesn’t need to be only this strategy; also, 3D finishing operations can leak down when a boundary is in some complicated model area at the edge of a part. Then, if there are no other limits, you are machining the machine table.
