Hi, in the new company Im working on, Im using more steep and shallow

But is a new strategy for me and i need to enhance the strategy

Does anyone here use a lot in cavity parts? And setting or tips  for this toolpath? Thanks in advance

Thats my go to finisher for large complex models. It gives good results.

I use 55 for the thresold value and use shallow type set to raster. Which means surfaces angled from 0-55 will be machined using a shallow strategy and 55-90 will use steep strategy which is constant-Z.

I use Raster for shallow instead of 3D Offset because it gives a more consistent finish.

Also I use 3d fillet corners alot if the corners in the model are smaller then the radius of the tool so it doesn't slam in the corners.

Just watch out for the very small slices you will get sometimes. You will have to delete them to avoid unnecessary machine time.

I must have a little overlap, maybe 0.25 to 0.5
