Status Bar User Defined: Hole Diameter

I'd like to have a user defined status bar value to show the hole diameter of the selected feature set hole.  I can't seem to find the parameter or expression to show this value in the status bar.  Any one know the correct expression?

Hi @cory_marty,

There is no parameter available for the featureset hole diameter. So we can't have this displayed in the status bar; user defined field.

Having said this; for a given/selected featureset hole we can get the value of Diameter by using the following typein command,

print formvalue EditHole.Shell.Geom.LowerDia

print formvalue EditHole.Shell.Geom.UpperDia

So you can add this command as a quick button in Quick Access toolbar to get the hole diameter of the selected hole. The value will be printed in the command Window of powerMill.

Also you can use the following macro to  get the diameter of each hole in active hole featureset,

FOREACH H in components(entity('featureset','1')) {
IF H.Type == "hole" {
PRINT = H.name + " has a diameter of " + H.Diameter
}
}

I hope this helps.
