ROBOT PLUGIN - PMILL 2023 WONT LOAD ROBOT CORRECTLY / 2022 LOADS SAME ROBOT FINE

Hi I am having an issue where when i load my robot into powermill 2023 the sliders in robot control are greyed out  and the axis are misnamed.

loading the same robot into powermill 2022 works fine I'm loading both robots in the same way so I don't see an issue other than perhaps powermill 2023 needs something else added to the files that run the robot that 2022 doesn't need?

2022 - sliders are working fine, robot ca be simulated

2023 - sliders are greyed out, robot can't be simulated or moved atall

any ideas on why this is occurring would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Can you try this solution? https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/powermill-forum/robot-plugin-features-greyed-out-after-2023-update/m-...

thanks i can see how that would work,  i  got around the issue by adding my robot files to the folder:

C:\Users\your.name\AppData\Local\Autodesk\PowerMillRobot\11.0.28\Library\Robots

and making a new folder there.

but seeing as that path would be in the trusted directories I can see now why that worked.

thanks!
