PostProcessor:Helical Cycle Output

Hello,

I came across the problem where my helical cycle output is not generated when my start z from hole top is more than actual cutting depth.Otherwise it runs fine in all other toolpaths.

As shown in screenshot my hole top is Z0 and my start Z is -40 and total depth is 60.

I have also attached .cut and .mpf file for both cases.

Thanks and regards.

I had the same issue. I've found out the problem tho. It was the features chamfer; if you have chamfer on your features, your Drilling Cycle Output turns to grey. If you have standard features, without any chamfer or radius on top, the Drilling Cycle Output turns again active.

I hope I've helped you.

Regards

With our post it is the start position that causes the cycle not to generate.

If the start position is changed to anything other than the default setting, which is 0, we get unpredictable results.

We create additional hole feature sets for offsetting hole start points.. that way the start point is always 0, and we get a cycle every time.
