Could someone from Autodesk perhaps provide some information about the future of PowerMill?

Will PowerMill continue to be developed, or will it just be Fusion?

We pay so much for the software, but we don't seem to get anything new in return.

Making PowerMill the same price as Fusion would only be fair.

There used to be several updates a year, now maybe two.

Webinars with the latest content and future plans were

shared with everyone. Why not do more now, or just state

clearly that you're discontinuing PowerMill?

I think I'm not the only one who wants to know what happens next.

Have you met my friend PowerSHAPE?  Literally no new features in the last three years.

Since Fusion uses the dmk (PowerMill) kernel internally, out of all the old Delcam products, PowerMill actually has the best outlook in terms of sticking around for a long time. Not that it will get too many updates, but every time they need to modify the dmk kernel to add something new to Fusion, PowerMill will also typically get that update as well.

As far as I know (and I'm not an Autodesk representative, so take anything I say with a grain of salt) Autodesk has no intentions of killing off PowerMill anytime soon. That said, most of the updates we will get would be due to the dmk kernel getting updated for Fusion reasons and PowerMill gets updated as a side bonus because of the shared kernel.

IN the event that PM fizzles out, will we still be able to use the last version, or with the subscription thing will we be S.O.L. as they say?
