If you didn't have a backup of your *.paf you will likely have to contact Autodesk. I would imagine they could still get you a copy of your last *.paf that was issued to you before they did the switch to the flexnet hasp.

Thanks for your response. Please tell me how to contact Autodesk in order
to get a copy of PAF. Because I don't have the one.

Do you know who your Delcam sales manager is? Do you have an Autodesk Account?

Can you search your email for a PAF license file?

Im not sure who the contact would be for your area, you could try looking up the Autodesk office in your area and calling.

You may be able to find some information here as to how to reach support. https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us

ithout your PAF license, there is nothing that the forum community can do to help you.

Hi, I have the dongle which was provided by delcam and I suppose it is
working. What is this dongle used for?

The dongle and the license file work together to activate PowerMill. If you lose one of these elements, the software will not work.

Unfortunately I don't know who you would contact as @Jonathan_Artiss19  said you would likely have to contact your local Autodesk office / Reseller.

Maybe your IT person would have backups of original drive that failed on you?

All else fails

Have you tried to mount the 'failed disk' to retrieve data, could simply have been a bad boot sector.

If that doesn't work..,

Sounds crazy, but in the past we've been able to put drive in a ZIPLOCK in the freezer overnight, mount it and be able to run it long enough to retrieve data before it got too hot to read.

The file you are needing would likely be in C:/dcam/config/pass/*.paf

Best of luck

Hi, I am the IT person here and could not find back up any where that's why
contacting for your help. The disk drive on which it was installed is not
working, it got completely crashed, no data showing on it. At least can you
tell me the supplier/vendor details in UAE.

@Anonymous ,

Try Deltron ( FZE), it's the only Autodesk reseller that's listed in the Autodesk Partner Locator at https://www.autodesk.com/partners/locate-a-reseller

They might be able to help.
