NOT RESPONDING

Has anyone else noticed that Powermill 2017 crashes more often then previous versions?

 

Are there certain computer settings that you have found to prevent these crashes? We have found Surfcam runs better with settings a certain way, but I have never seen this with Powermill. This is getting really frustrating!

Yes and I've seen some strange error messages as well.

Today is my 2nd day on PM2017 (coming from PM1015 R2) and i've noticed that some calculations (like stock models) do take much longer then before.

I hope they use more CPU resources in future versions.

For myself, I find the smaller the cutter the longer the calculation time/NOT RESPONDING thing happens.  I've been driving my IT guy insane trying to see if its a hardware issue.  It isn't.  So any hints would be helpful.
