Inside/outside surface

Morning all, 

I'm having a small issue with my models coming in and the outside and inside surfaces are the wrong way round.

The engineers who send them trough said they don't know why its doing it. 

The picture below shows what I mean, in this picture I have a Rev. 1 and Rev. 2 and they came in different ways around.

Is there a easy way to fix this? Has anyone else had this issue?

The main reason I need to fix it is for certain toolpaths that will only want to machine on the outside surface. (I think flowline finishing was one)

The purple on the outside is the correct one.

Select the whole model (or only the surfaces you want to flip) and then right-click on the model and "Reverse Selected"
