Hello
Thank you very much for joining me
I am learning Powermil 2016
I am not able to create a toolpath on a very simple square o rectangular section box
In particular I want to profile only one edge,
I am not sure if I need to create pattern or a feature for it
Basically I want to learn how to machine a wall with an endmil and cutter compensation, just a simply straight line toolpath
Any suggestion according this matter will be very appreciative
Thank you very much in advance for your support

Solved by TK.421. Go to Solution.
if it is a 90 degree edge you can pick the surface and run a swarf toolpath on it. use extended move lead-in/lead-out to make sure the whole edge gets machined
See attached PM2016 project for examples. (You'll need to unzip it)
Thank you TK.421
I would be very grateful if you may explain step by step how to make this tool-path
Thank you

Hi @morrysss,
Please go through below given link, this video provides information regarding feature detection like slots, pockets and chamfers, etc, also group editing with dynamically using simple click and drag commands. New 2.5D toolpaths offer greater programming control and efficiency.
Thank You.
I was sure i had already replied and thank you Tk.421, but for some reason it not there anymore
