Are you using an Nividia graphics card with the global preset set to 3D App - Visual Simulation?

Its Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada Generation

had it at Base Profile and i did try switching it to 3D App - Visual Simulation

even tried messing with a few settings in
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\PowerMill 2025\sys\misc\graphics.con" but no luck

just really odd it only does it in the Tool Description page

works fine in all other text areas like Toolpath notes and descriptions.

This most likely relates to latest windows 11 update 25H2, which was installed on 16/‎10/‎2025 on my machine. Dont worry - PowerMill is not only
taget. Below image from Alphacam 2025 experiencing same problem. All worked fine till last 2 weeks.

I dont think the graphical card is to blame, but do you have Intel Arc Graphics which cotrols your display on your laptop (run dxdiag)?

When was the last time the driver was updated? Trying doing that if it's been awhile.

I’m using the drivers released in August 2025, and I don’t recall updating them manually, so unless Windows updated them automatically, the graphics drivers I’m using should be the same ones that worked fine before, as well as the ones in use when the text editng issue appeared.

Windows update KB5068861 (November 11, 2025) fixed the issue.
