Flat counterbores how do you do it?

As mentioned, i will soon have to do the days I miss from the course, but on the days off I would like to prepare some programs.

If I were to create a back face with a disc, is there a cycle?

How do you do it?

Thanks

If I am understanding you correctly you want to machine the underside counterbore with a disk tool from the top side.

1: A constant Z toolpath with undercut checked would do that. You will have to find some way to limit it to only look in the area you want sometimes I use the the component thickness and select the surface I want to machine put it in one group, invert selection and make all other surfaces collision. You could also use a boundary instead. Then limit the z on the limit tab. This would be one approach to get the toolpath you want.

2: You could use a projection line finishing as well. For this method you would have to create a separate toolpath for each hole as you would have to define the line coming up through the center of each individual hole.

There would be some other options as well but maybe this can get you started.
