DAHLIH MCV1450-FANUC SERIES oi MD Post Processor

Morning all, we have recently added a tool probe to our machine to allow us to run "lights out". The PP we currently use doesn't add the necessary codes to check for tool breakage at the end of each individual cutter path.

Does anyone have a current PP that can do this?

If not, who is best to contact at Autodesk?

Cheers:-)

I use have a 9000 number program that lives on the control, on our Haas it can be aliased with an M code, you can then call the M code at the end of a toolpath in postprocessor. I believe in Fanuc you can do the same for a number of 9000 numbered programs, i.e 9001, 9002, 9003, check your manual for guidance on the parameter to assign M code to, in order set this up.

I've attached my tool break program below, for reference.

Hope this is off some help.
