part aligner nc exporting

Why is it when I leave the default alignment references, the export button is active, but when I select the reference alignments I want to use the export buttons become greyed out.  See attached photos.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your interest in this feature

The buttons are greyed because the Best Fit has not been calculated or 'Played. To do this you can use the right mouse button to click on the Best Fit item, then select 'Play Item' from the list. This will raise the Best Fit analyser dialog, from there clicking the 'Go Step' button will calculate the Best Fit. The buttons should then become live again.
