Alignment features retain their original CAD coordinates, failing to adapt to the new datum system

In F1, the CAD origin is usually at the centre of the assembly. Power Inspect retains CAD nominals regardless of alignment methods (like PLP or Best Fit). While datums allow shifting the origin to any feature, such as a circle or point, a significant limitation is that alignment features do not update to reflect this new datum structure; they continue to show original CAD nominals. This inconsistency creates discrepancies between aligned features and measured data, complicating analysis and potentially leading to errors in inspection results.
