Hi @jksjim,
Could you please provide a bit more context for your question? What problem are you trying to solve?
Thanks!
Hello Dimitriy,
There's been some communications errors with Autodesk Community messages going into my Junk Mail folder. I had to move all messages into my Inbox in order to read them. I noticed that you are answering for the Power Inspect Forum, so I'm not certain whether my inquiry would be covered by you. But in case you have an answer, I will provide you with more info.
I'm working with ACAD 2018, on exercises from a textbook. The exercise is to simply draw a square using the line command. However, the textbook wants this exercise to be done in the Absolute Coordinate System. The only instruction was to: start dwg>templates>acadISO-named plot styles.dwt. But there are other prerequisites that have to be setup 1st. So I'm hoping that someone will help me navigate into Absolute Coordinates.
Regards,
jksjim
Hello jksjim,
Indeed, your question has appeared in PowerInspect forum. I am sorry, but I cannot help with AutoCAD questions. ![]()
I appreciate that Autodesk forums could be a maze. I think that the easiest way to get help would be to re-post your question with the details above in AutoCAD forum here.
I hope it helps!
Thank,
Dmitriy
Hi Dimitriy,
I'm replying to an older post of yours because I seem to have lost your new post for Absolute Coordinate System. I agree that there was too much info being posted and that I should start anew. However, I decided to suspend further search for a definitive solution to Absolute Coordinate System. Thanks for your patience regarding this issue. Also, thanks to Paul Li, & Kent1Cooper for their participation.
Best Regards,
jksjim
