Revit point LAyout 2018 Snapping issues

Hi,

I am using point layour for Revit 2018. I am laying out the soffit for 1 of the project with a large radius.

I am trying to lay the pints and it is not accurately landing on the radius wall. I enabled the snap seeting and it is still catching the nearest point. Any help would be appreciated asap.

First thing to do is check that your Length Units Rounding is at least 1/32".  If so let me know which of the functions you are using.

Also if you are using Manual point placement, use Workplane option instead of Element, that is what gives you access to the snappoints.

Yes to both your comments. I am still not getting the accurate points on the curve.

I believe it is doing it accurately, its the graphics for the wall that are not accurate in this case.  I did a 500' radius wall and saw the same thing happening, and you could only tell when zoomed way in though.  The snaps(and temporary line they show being snapped to) are probably forced to a higher level of accuracy than the graphics for the wall.  You would need to post on the Revit forum for a real answer on that though, you will see the same behavior with a Spot Coordinate from the Annotate ribbon.
