Thank you for reporting this.  I have updated to 2020.2 and reproduce the issue.  Unfortunately it is due to a change on the Revit side and I have reached out to the appropriate team in regards to it.  The only option at this time is to install the prior version of Revit.  I will post more information once it is available.

Thanks,

Working on a small Hotfix for this, if either of you would like to test it today, please send me a PM.

A hotfix is now available to fix this issue, an AKN page has been created regarding the problem and the hotfix is downloadable from that page.

I have installed the Hot Fix as mentioned above and still can't use APL in Revit 2020.2.

The pop-up warning has gone away, but so has the "Autodesk Point Layout" tab inside Revit 2020.2?

APL works fine in my 2018 and 2019 products, as well as Naviswrosk, ACAD and Civil 3D 2020, just not Revit 2020.2

Any suggestions?

Follow up on issue that CStorms ran into in case anyone else has the same issue.

When the error first occurred, and prior to installing the hotfix, he had chosen the option to suppress Point layout warnings.  The hotfix was then install but on relaunch of Revit the APL ribbon did not show up, due to the prior choice to suppress it.

This is easy to fix.  From the windows start menu, launch the "Autodesk Point Layout Plugin" app, uncheck the Revit 2020 option and press okay.   Relaunch the app again and check the Revit 2020, and hit okay.  The ribbon will now reappear in Revit 2020 and all should work as intended.
