Is APL usable in Navisworks Manage and Simulate?

It seems the ability to access Point Layout tools in Navisworks starts with the add-ins tab --> Tools Panel --> Autodesk Point Layout.  Is this only possible with Navisworks Manage?  Manage vs Simulate is not explicitly stated in the preview guide.  I currently have Navisworks Simulate.

Hello Clara, welcome to the Point Layout forum.  Navisworks Simulate is supported by Point Layout.  The place to start is launching the Point Layout Plugin application from Start->Programs->Autodesk->Autodesk Point Layout 2017.  This lists all the supported products that can be found installed on your computer, check the box next to your Navisworks Simulate and hit OK.  Then when you launch Simulate again you should find the Point layout button in the location you mentioned.  If for some reason any part of this is not happening on your side just report back or start a support case and we will get it sorted out for you.
