AutoCAD APL points display only the Point Number Attribute

AutoCAD APL points display only the Point Number Attribute as a tag next to the point. I noticed there is an elevation attribute but it is empty? Can this be populated easily?

I would like to hide the point number but display the elevation?

Steve, try out the Add Elevation Tags option, its on the Ribbon or under the Tools submenu in the Point Layout right click menu. Hopefully this covers what you are looking to show.

Thanks,
Shayne

This does work for most point types. Unfortunately not for control points.

I created a feature improvement item to support the control point blocks as well for that function. For now though you could export out the control points, import them back in as a different point type and tag them. Not ideal but will work in a pinch.

Thanks,
Shayne

Is there a way to display the coordinate/geometry data along with the point label? E.g. have the point's X, Y, and Z data displayed under the point label.  Thanks!

There is not for the AutoCAD side. You can add an elevation tag, but that only covers the Z.
You can however use the Create Pt Table to add a listing of coordinates to a Layout view:

No, unfortunately that precision is hardcoded in, so cannot be changed.
