ObjectARX AddIn Error

Hi,

Today when I go onto MSVC 6 I get a LiveUpdate dialog that seems to detect
an updated DevCon.txt (1024 kb) but then gives me a "Error Detected in
Instruction Files!" - anyone know how to reset this?

Crispin,

Go to CFG button on ARXWizard toolbar. It will open a setup dialog.
Disable the option "Live Update" (the first checkbox).

Also I would recommend you to get the latest version of it on ADN website.

Thanks Fernando,

I have version 1.3.0.1 and have looked for an update on ADN but searching
for "objectarx wizard" only get a list of component files in a ZIP dated
1999. I know the version I use is more up to date than that. Has anyone
got a link to the latest version or email me direct.

Hi Crispin, Some of the things on the ADN website can be hard to find. Try Research the Knowledge Base ObjectArx Developer Centre There are some links there pertaining to ObjectArx. In the newer ObjectArx SDK's the wizard comes in the main package. There is a separate link to the ObjectArx 2000 wizard. The actual ObjectArx download link is directly to the main Autodesk site anyway. Or you can get at it through the Knowledge Base by AutoCAD AutoCAD Utilities This is a cool place with plenty of controls/helper classes etc that you can't seem to find any other way as well as a link to the wizard.
