I know I read an article on the ADN site last year that stated that objects in objectARX 2005 would be able to be created in VB.NET. Did anyone else read that?

It's true (supposedly, I haven't tried it yet). arx2005 included a set of managed wrappers that should let you do almost anything in C#, VB, or managed C++. I wonder how much slower it is.... It is considerably faster than the current COM API. I think I heard numbers like 10-20% slower than ObjectARX, but I don't remember for sure. -- Jon Rizzo Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.
