Live Update - Acad2004

I'm still on Acad2004 (and apparently will be for about 3 more years according to the powers that be). However, periodically, the ARX LiveUpdate periodically (Maybe I'm just accidently hitting the button?) wants me to update to ObjectARX Wizard 2005. I imagine that I wouldn't want to do this... or will the ObjectARX 2005 wizard work for my ARX 2004 needs? -- Thanks, Martin Schmid, EIT, CCSA, MCDBA, MCSE

The ObjectARX 2005 wizard does work with ObjectARX 2004. Interestingly, I downloaded the 2004 Wizards and tried to install them, and they just crashed the IDE. I haven't figured out why, but I installed the 2005 wizards, and they seem to work fine for AutoCAD 2004. But I haven't figured out yet, if they generate 2005-specific code. -- http://www.caddzone.com AutoCAD based Security Planning Solutions: http://www.caddzone.com/securityplanning AcadXTabs: MDI Document Tabs for AutoCAD 2004/2005 http://www.acadxtabs.com "Martin Schmid" wrote in message news:40c06073$1_3@newsprd01... > I'm still on Acad2004 (and apparently will be for about 3 more years > according to the powers that be).
