AutoCAD in the age of threading

Reading about intel’s next gen nova lake processors with 52 cores, thinking how AutoCAD’s APIs are stuck using one. What are Autodesk’s plans? I think that AutoCAD should allow opening side databases (even read only would be helpful), and opening database objects for read, I.e. add OpenMode::kMTForRead where upgrade open is disabled

Might be faster for us to make our own CAD software than to wait for Autodesk to update this.

What language should we use? C++ ? Assembly? Python? DreamBerd?
