TextStyleTableRecord.FileName has no extension

I am looking at the text styles that are used and I am seeing that in Autocad the "Font Name:" field has simplex.shx but when looking at it thru .Net I see TextStyleTableRecord.FileName has simplex only. (no .shx)

The .IsShapeFile property is False.

This post from 2009. Doesnt really have anything useful.

Any suggestions?

In my experience, if the extension is missing it is always a SHX font. TrueType fonts will always have the TTF extension.
