.Net or Python or Vlisp ?

I have been trying to learn programming to automate the task in AutoCad. It's been a month I keep searching but amounts to nothing. I want to start with simple programs like export the length of the selected object to export in excel and build upon that to create more complex programs. Should I use python or Visp or Dotnet for this purpose?

I found python to be easiest but some of the library or attribute I can't find or understand. Please Guide me.
