I have used the free ImageMagick tool for years to modify images, its free, stable, and handles large images well.
I know GIMP has a scripting language, but has anyone out there investigated this a lot and settled on a preferred tool that can be run in automation?
Not that IM is not good, but it is tricky to learn.
Funny thing about this is I am writing a tool to merge images since Raster Design fails on them.
Also, I'm tired of pulling an IDSP seat for Raster Design when its all I need.
Just checked on rental pricing, $840 a year.
That is more than the maintenance on our acad seats!
Time to make my own set of image mod tools for acad and bricscad to continue to inimize the adesk products we buy.
