Is it possible to find entities under the cursor during MoveGripPointsAt in a GripOverrule?

I basically need a PointMonitor during the move grip operation so I can align text to a line but setting up a PointMonitor for a grip overrule seems like overkill and will potentially lag the system.

As far as I know, there seems to be no way to find entities under the cursor during MoveGripPointsAt in a GripOverrule.
