FATAL error loading dll from startup folder

hi

In AutoCAD 2024, my typical practice involves automatic loading of all my applications from the directory "C:\Users\WIN10\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins". However, I'm encountering an issue when it comes to loading a particular DLL file. Whenever another component of the program invokes this DLL, AutoCAD displays an error and subsequently crashes. Interestingly, the same application functions correctly when I load it using the NETLOAD command. Do you have any insights into this peculiar situation?

Thanks

Hi,

You do not need to 'autoload' the libraries which are referenced by your main program. Simply depoy them in the same folder as the main program (as done in your example).

In your case, try removing the

<ComponentEntry ModuleName="./Contents/Windows/MSV_PCVPreviewer.dll" />

from the PackageContents.xml file.
