Create plugin to generate contour automatically

Hi, I'm new to .net API development for autocad civil 3D.
I want to develop a plugin where I select a boundary in autocad civil 3d and the contour is generated within that boundary.

To generate the contour it is necessary that the location is already defined. The following image demonstrates the limit.

you can use Civil3d and try to copy the surface and set the polyline as outer boundary and assign the style to it?
