C# code without start external program

Anonymous

Hi everyone
I am looking for a code.
Without loading and unloading, without start external program (debug)
C# code searches active file ,for example c:\home.dwg.
I wrote in this: netload and so on.
It saves many hours.
I read articles about it but I couldn't find a solution.
I read all help about programming in c# for vs.
Time which I have to spend waiting for starting cad every time
takes many minutes. I wrote in vba for autocad, there is a big difference
in waiting for a result.
Thank You in advance

If You

I'm no C#-man, but try that:

1) which language do You write programs ?

2) which language do You recommend to learn ( I wonder about c# and later c++ to learn c languages )

I would like to have that knowledge like yours in programming without checking codes. 🙂

This code for c# works for first time.

Thank You for your help and time which You spent on my situation.  🙂

Hi,

>> which language do You write programs ?

most apps I write in vb,net. the times I use C# or even C++ are very rare, so I'm really unused to that.

>> which language do You recommend to learn

If you want to go as deep as ObjectARX then C# would be ok, but don't think that the step from C# to C++ is easy 😉

If you start with VB.NET or C# does not matter, long time ago I read a book about VB.NET and there where 25 reasons why to use VB.NET and not C#. I'm sure if anyone is very familiar with C# he/she will find 25 reasons to run C# better then VB.NET. 😉

At least it's not the syntax of a language that makes you strong in programming, nowadays with dotNET it's the knowledge about the framework and it's technical possibilities it offers. If you know the framework in it's depth it does not matter wether you use it's functionality from VB.NET, C#, F#, J#, .... The result is the same.

There are different languages for specifing using.

Friends recommend me to learn languages kind: C like C, C++ , C#.

They claim c# is the easiest to learn from them and later try to learn more difficult c++ and C.

I work in civil engineering industry, it becomes not stable, low pay jobs.

There are big requirements for starting people.

I would like to learn languages of kind: c. They told me, there are more jobs for languages kind: C.

Another friend writes codes in C for electronic microcontrolers - it takes many years to learn this.

So for autocad it doesn't matter which language do you choose.

In other industries it makes difference.

I will start programming in DOT NET , .dll using c#

Thank You for help.

Broken link  Smiley Sad  And note the lock symbol, and Read Only status on the file while debugging:

Locked file.PNG

Oh, and note the 2008 version.  Maybe they changed that in the 2010 release.

Thanks, that one is indeed functioning.  And I may now have reason to upgrade VS, *after* I get this Win7 upgrade out of the way.  Too much grey hair already...
