Autocad Structural Detailing (ASD)

Good evening

This post mainly constitutes a series of questions for Autodesk Developers but also for users. I tried using the contact link but it directs me here.

I know this has been asked before but it has been over a year now.

Are you planning on realeasing an ASD api?

From what I have read on the forums it had not been officially released up until last year and it's not supported by ADN, meaning even if I have an ADN subscription I would not get any access or support to any version of it, have there been any changes?

If not, while trying to work around this can I create a DBObject and have it work in a similar fashion as a reinforcement object (e.g. rbcr_en_bar)

I have been able to read some of the data of that object type, which had been created manually, while in debug mode and it says it's an object of type Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.ImpCurve which cannot be created as there are no library references in the regular autocad SDK.

Can it be created differently? In ObjectRX perhaps(unmanaged)?

Could I work around this and always create a copy of a previous manually created reinforcement object, keep it as the parent class DBObject and modify some or all of its properties and the save it in the database?

Could I use an ASD installation library as template to reference object types and create them from there? (I hope this makes sense)

It is far fetched but it might be possible.

Please release ASD SDK!
