i`am just starting out...can anybody tell me what books should i read so i could know all the entities (and their function) in the object browser when i started the macros..thanks

The best skill to acquire for the .net api is the ability to do research. I assume you don't think you're the first
to ask this question - do you?

Since Daniel made me feel bad...:( There is no such book that will encompass all - I think there is only one on .net which you
should find by searching this group - I don't know the name. Download the ARX skd and the .net labs from Autodesk's site and
start reading. I don't mean look up the info you need and be done with it but really read the docs (including the native arx stuff).

Also search this group and TheSwamp.org on a regular basis and start to read posts - you'll soon find how much you can
learn from the likes of Tony, Daniel et al... When it all goes bad - go out mudding for the day then come home drink some beer and
go back to reading the next day...) I saw a post on the swamp the other day by Kerry Brown the started "I was reading the
ARX docs at lunch time..." Once you find yourself doing the same you'll be on your way!
