Hi there,

My issue is when launching AutoCAD 2025, the following message pop's up:

"Unable to run AutoCAD. A dependent component Microsoft .NET is missing or you don't have sufficient rights to run AutoCAD. If you have sufficient rights, install the missing component or reinstall AutoCAD."

I've tried Autodesk's recommended solution:

  1. From Windows Control Panel > Uninstall a program, uninstall both components.
  2. Go to Microsoft web pages to download and install the latest versions of the components.
  3. Reboot the computer.
  4. Start AutoCAD.

However, this solution hasn't worked, and the message still appears when I try to open AutoCAD. I've also tried running as administrator, but this doesn't work either.

Thanks for your help in advance, much appreciated.
