Trouble in saving a file after editting

 why I cant edit and save In the attached file. I want to hide some parts in this drawing and save it. But I cant do that.

You should be able to do it. The NWD is created with a Save as or a Publish with the "May be re-saved option"

 

You need Simulate to do this. I could open it with Simulate 2016

After hiding some objects, create a Viewpoint to store this view (including what is hidden and what not)

Then use Save As before leaving the NWD to create another NWD.

When you re-open the NWD, selecting the viewpoint you made, will hide the things you did.

 

To overwrite an existing viewpoint, Right click the box before the name and choose update from the right mouse menu.

Left clicking will activate the existing viewpoint, which results in the objects becoming visible again.

The file is fine, just change the "Orthographic" mode to "Perspective" mode in 'Viewpoint' menu so that you can go inside the building without cutting a section.

 

After that go for the 'save as' option, select in which format you want to save it (means 'nwf' or 'nwd') and hit save.
