I have a Navisworks File Set (NWF) file with many model items. The models items have been appended into the NWF from the Model Coordination tool in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Some of the model items have been transformed and others have not been transformed. The transform on some of the model items has been reset recently (set to 0ft 0in). The file was then saved with these revisions. After quitting and restarting Navisworks and re-opening this file, all of the transforms revert to the previous transform settings (which are not 0ft 0in).
My understanding is that transform settings are saved in the NWF. Navisworks should retain the transform settings between editing sessions. As of now, I have to reset the transform every time that the NWF file is opened.

Hello,
This is a known limitation currently and has to do with how the files are stored and read from ACC. We are working towards a resolution to resolve.
Sorry, I realise this isn't much help in the short term...

Hello,
Update on this from the team. This is expected behaviour and for the transforms to be retained they should be completed on the Model Coordination Web side rather than in Navisworks directly.

@brett_parkerLUEP7 : The transforms have been removed in ACC Model Coordination, but the persist in Navisworks.

One more thought: Three of four models were transformed in ACC Model Coordination and Navisworks. The fourth was transformed in neither. The persistent transformation issue does not exist in the fourth model but does in the first three.

Hi Brett, I've done a transform on the Model Coordination web side however it will not retain once I open the model in Navisworks.
Do you know why that is?
This is the coordinates in Model Coordination web viewer:
This is the coordinates that show in Navisworks, even after implementing the transform in the web:

Correction: Transforms were not done in ACC Model Coordination. Once they were done there, then the problem was resolved.
