I am trying the function "Auto Attaching using Rules" for gatehouse example, I tried several time a lot of combinations to match Task name from GANTT with task name from model but I did not succeed. Can you help me please?

@ronald.loggen thanks for answering. Could you explain more in detail what do you mean please? Because the issue is the matching.

Thanks

Try a different rule for matching the timeliner:

First check it the set works, then test if the set auto attaches

Thanks @ronald.loggen for answering, Sets seems are not taken, as you can see in the picture attached. It is the gatehouse sample in Navisworks, it should work just because it is an example!

There is a difference in searchsets and selection sets.

Try search sets.

Thanks @ronald.loggen for answering,

there is anything in search sets neither. In attach find the gatehouse example, but I guess you should have as well. My questions is how can I "auto attach using rules" matching tasks from timeliner (importing it thorough Microsoft Primavera) and tasks from "selection tree"

Thanks for helping.

See the example attached.

Create a set called Name 3 and see that it attached automatically

Maybe I did not explain well. @ronald.loggen I have to match with tasks from Microsoft Project.

Here is the link for dowloading the Microsoft Project file  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wFbxBart0wEwf-OVqYO0UZO5TJLnal22

Thanks for your support

You must map the name of a task or a User 1 column to the name of the searchsets.

1: import MS project
2: create search sets for each task you want to auto connect.,

The name of the set must match the name of a column in the time liner
