Switchbach doesn't work with local RVT file

Dear colleagues, 

In our department we are exporting NWC files from local RVT files and merging them in NWF. As a result, revit username is retained appended at Source File Name parameter of the NWC. Later, we do Clash Detective analysis. The fact that nwc is related to a local Revit file prevents Navisworks-Revit collaboration inside engineering teams, Switchback works only on the machine which was used for NWC export. On the other hand, sometimes after clicking Switchback, Revit opens empty 3D view. Could it be because of Source File Name too? My quiestion is, what is the best collaboration practice to help integrating all the team? For now most of the engineers are finding and resolving clashes by IDs.
