Simulate my Models on Web

Hi Autodesk Folks!

I have a Navisworks NWD file in which my team has made a simulation with animations. I have to show this video to my clients on web. Is there any web based platform, on which I can host my NWD files and my clients can see the simulations and animations made.

I tried on Autodesk Viewer, but couldn't play the simulations. Only model is opening.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Have you tried to Export the animation and share the video file with the clients rather than the NWD?

a_meteni is offering the simplest and best way to do this. You could create a web application if you are a developer, but the method I am aware of would still require the client computer to have a version of Navisworks on their computer.

Thanks for your quick reply. Actually they want the model also so that they
can navigate while simulating. So, hosting the model on the web is needed.

Not sure if Glue can do it or not. But you might re-post @ BIM 360 Glue Forum

Thanks a_meteni! I will give Bim 360 Blue a try. But if a solution was
available in which i can run the simulations on the web itself, it have
been a more interactive approach, and that's the sole purpose.

Glue will not perform this task. You will just have to send them the model.

Thanks pdavis for your reply....
Yes giving my model would work good. But the thing is, my all clients are
not having Autodesk Navis and also I want to show live generated models.
That's why there is a need for a web based platform to host my model which
can also show the simulations.

The TimeLiner tool adds schedule simulation to Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Navisworks Simulate files.

In Autodesk Navisworks Freedom, TimeLiner has a playback-only option, allowing any externally created project data to be simulated, but no changes to be made to that data.

Your clients could use Navisworks freedom (free version) to review the simulation.
