Navisworks 2022 along with all other software.
Goal: I want to create an interactive topographical map for use in plangrid. I started with xyz point cloud topographical data, made a surface and imported into infraworks geo-referenced. I then draped aerial photos over the topographical surface to create a current site layout. Infraworks model exported as an fbx. From there, I went to inventor and created a scaled sketch of the site with different "zones" or parcels being extruded at an elevation above where the topo surface will be. These extruded zones have been set to transparent though inventor along with custom iproperties to define the data I need shown in plangrid. From there, I have imported the infraworks model and inventor model into navisworks.
Problem: in the rendered view my inventor models are showing solid even if I adjust their transparency override in navisworks. When I switch to shaded view, the objects become transparent but I lose my aerial photo overlay on the topo surface.
Question: how can I get either the ground surface to show in shaded view, or model elements semi-transparent in rendered view?
