Road Simulation (4D)

Hello,

I am looking to build a road project simulation (4D schedule) using Navisworks. I was checking for around an hour and found that the best way is to build the model using Civil 3D (I am not sure if I can have it as layers: Cut and Fill, Subbase, Aggregate, Asphalt base and Wearing) then maybe imported to infraworks to give it a better 3D model view and afterwards send it to Navisworks to link it to the schedule that was built using Primavera. Am I getting this right?

Regards,

Mohammad

HI behonestwithyourself,

The best option would be to design using Civil 3D and do a QTO or 4D planning using Navisworks

If you suggest tutorials for doing that I would appreciate it.
