Revit 2016 to navisworks

hello, I am trying to export element parameters to navisworks so that I can make an nwd that has the parameter information. However, when I export from revit only my ducts get the element tab in th properties pallet but not my duct fittings which are more important. What gives? Can anyone shed some light on this topic? Thanks.

The last link you mentioned perfectly illustrated my problem however it does not work for NWM 2016. In NWM 2014-2015 setting the selection resolution to Last Object fixed it (which is strange because this solution says that First Object Fixed it) Either way...none of the selection resolutions fix my problem yet all my exportable parameter boxes in the Navisworks exporter utility are checked. Still no "Element"Tab for duct fittings! What gives? That is like the ONLY tab that matters!...Figures...any advice would be warmly received. Thanks!

Setting resolution to First Object brings up Duct Fitting Properties, including Element Properties, in my version of NWM 2016 (v13.0.1240.52).  Mech systems were exported from RST 2016 with view set to Coordination and diplay resolution set to Fine.  The project I'm working on was authored in Revit MEP 2015 and "upgraded" to 2016 format - not sure if that makes a difference or not.

TBH, my normal setting for selection resolution is Last Object.  Not sure why fittings work different than most other elements.

If all else fails, it should be possible to obtain fitting element parameters in the Navis Property window by using the Selection Tree.  Select the element of interest>move up/down Selection Tree until element properties of interest are displayed in the Properties window.
