Edit: Version 5.0.1 of the Navisworks Coordination Issues Add-In has been released

Version 5.0.0 of the Navisworks Coordination Issues Add-In has been released to the Autodesk Apps store, and on manage.autodesk.com.

Prerequisites

Please uninstall prior versions of the product before installing the new version.

Product Improvements

  • General: Navisworks 2026 support
  • General: Remove support for Navisworks 2020
  • Connected: Display Model paths in Model selection screen
  • Connected: Reposition/Move pushpin support for models loaded from Desktop Connector
  • Connected: New Coordination tab on the Navisworks Home page, providing access to the Navisworks Coordination Issues Add-In.
  • Issues: Support issue creation on NWD's loaded from Desktop Connector even when publishing has failed
  • IssuesClash Issue Syncing (Navisworks 2025 & 2026 only):
    • When creating issues based on clashes from Clash Detective, the respective statuses are synced between the issue and the selected clashes within Navisworks, and also with the issue in Model Coordination.
    • In Clash Detective users will now see a new column called Related Info which will display the status of the linked issue. brett_parkerLUEP7_3-1743500125446.png
    • Users have an additional option to Select Issue which will open the issues panel and select the linked clash.

                   brett_parkerLUEP7_2-1743500106376.png

    • As the statuses used for clashes in Navisworks and issues in Model Coordination don't directly align, Model Coordination project administrators can specify how the two sets of statuses map against each other.brett_parkerLUEP7_0-1743499858497.png

Stability and Defects

General fixes

  • Issues: Pushpin location incorrect when using local NWF referencing NWD from desktop connector.
  • Issues: Issues panel intermittently failing to load for Coordination spaces with 200+ models
  • Connected: Fix Project RFI's, Submittals, or Forms external invalid links

Regards

Hello,

We noticed that if you already have an NWF file, that has linked models from a Coordination Room, stored on for example in BIM360 / ACC it is linking the models in the Coordination Room again. So all linked models appear twice in the NWF file. If we have version 4.5 installed that isn't happening, so we moved back to version 4.5 again.

Regards, Marcello

This is currently being investigated as a priority but we are not seeing it at all times on our end. Please reach out via email to provide more context.

These are now resolved in 5.0.1.

Known found issues with this release

  1. Clash issue status syncing: Automatically resolved clashes clash detective don't appear to be pushing the resolved status to the corresponding issue. Manually resolving the status is working as expected. Ticket: ABDI-3109
  2. NWF file duplication: Some users seeing files duplication in their NWFs. Ticket: ABDI-3110.
    1. Workaround: This appears to be isolated to nwf files saved from pre Navisworks 2024 and only when the nwf was from an older version of the addin. To resolve this, update to v5.0.0 and save an nwf. Opening older nwfs will cause duplication.

The "Related Info" column is grayed out on the "Choose Columns" dialog box, and does not show up in the Results window.

Hey,

The "Related Info" column only appears when there is information in it. E.G When an issue is created against a result, the column will automatically appear.

Thanks for the response Brett. I was creating issues from tests that were setup and ran prior to updating to v5. When I created an entirely new test in the same file, and then created issues from a result, the "Related Info" column appeared as you described.
