Navisworks 2019 Crashing

Everytime I change the color or reset colors or do any editing in Navisworks 2019 I crash out of the program. I have sent multiple reports with the error report but I have not heard anything back. I updated my graphics drivers today and I am still having this crash. I will attach the files from the report so that hopefully i can get a fix.

It's not only when I change colors but its every time I hit <ESC>. When I have anything selected and I want to "unselect" it I usually use the <ESC> key. Now every single time I hit that key it crashes Manage 2019. Does anyone have this issue or can they check and see if they have this issue.

Hi @BSchwartzkopf

we tried reproducing this issue with the information you gave us but we did not see any crashing when an object was deselected by pressing ESC key. Please provide us the following information so we can help you further:

  • What file type are you working on?
  • Does this happen only on one machine or multiple?
  • Are you able to reproduce this on Windows 10 machine?
  • Does this happen on other files or file types?
  • What are the steps you are taking to reproduce this?

If you send us the file you used and record a Screencast it would be helpful.

Thank you!

Hi,

Did you ever use the Bim track application in Naviswork? Because I had the same problem

That was the culprit I unloaded that program and it fixed my crashing. Never once used the program just had it installed.

Yes.  We had installed BIMtrack recently.  We uninstalled and the issue was resolved.

Actually the problem was about the last version of BIM Track published " in December".  if you really  need to work with BIM Track just install the old version of that. I guess they have solved this bug in the newest version.

BIMTrack v1.31 was crashing for me (I could barely navigate).  v1.35 seems to be steady so far.

I had the same crashing issue. My co worker as well. We both use BIMTrack. I just upgraded to 1.40. We'll see if it resolves the issue...or if BIMTrack really was the issue.
