Navisworks 2018 No Ray Trace?

Why is the interactive Ray Trace button greyed-out in Navisworks 2018? The same model opened in Navisworks 2017 can be rendered with no problem.

Welcome to Autodesk Forum and I would like to help you on your concern.

This is known issue in Navisworks as Ray Trace will work for only one view. As I can see the difference between 2017 and 2018 from your screenshot, there is another view in 2018 so that's why you couldn't have Ray Trace render.

If you remove another view from Navisworks, it would work as expected.
