Materials missing from Simulate to Freedom

I've seem to have lost most of my material images when I send a file to freedom. For example, I had a nice brickwork in NW Simulate, but when I output to freedom it is a solid gray. Has anyone seen this before? What can be done?

Kindly try publishing the NWD file rather then saying as NWD.

This might include the material in the file.

Hi mdoyle,

I understand you are missing brickwork materials when exporting from Navisworks Simulate to Freedom.

I agree with sureshchotrani recommendation that exporting the drawing as an NWD file which are "published" by Navisworks Simulate may resolve the issue.

When you save to a Navisworks (NWD) file, all loaded models, the scene's environment, the current view, and favorite viewpoints (including redlines and comments) are all saved to a single file. This is known as publishing a Navisworks file and creates a "snapshot" of the project. An NWD file is considered a complete file and can be opened in any Navisworks product and the Navisworks Freedom viewer.
