Local coordinates for measuring tools

Is there a way to make local coordinate system and my measuring tools to display its componets (X Y Z) according to that new local system (please see the atachment).

The only way I know is to rotate all your models.

(Or make an NWD first, then open that NWD in Simulate)

Select the model(s) in the Selection Tree.

Right mouse menu ->Units and Transform ...

enter the rotation angle (+ means counterclockwise) around Z, so around 0,0,1

I'm glad you asked this. 

I, too, would like to see distances shown as components of X, Y, and Z. 

Seldom do I really want a true 3D distance.

For instance I'd like to see how far the ceiling is from the floor. This is currently difficult to do.
