IFC Wall Issues in Navis from ArchiCAD

We have set up an ArchiCAD model with an extra field 'Timeline' added to the external walls / windows etc. (to assist the contractor to timeline the model by elevation) and exported out to an IFC. There is an issue when we look at it in Navisworks, that some of the internal walls are showing up on the search for timeline =Elevation 01.

In the selection tree, the internal walls are coming out as a subset of the external IFCWall, and are therefore picking up the Elevation 01 field, even though it's not in the actual internal wall itself.

Also, I can't find a way to do a 2nd level search to only select the external walls that are already selected for being on Elevation 01, the internal walls have an IFCPROPERTYSET value of IsExternal = False, while the External ones have IsExternal=True, but this value isn't available in the search options.

I have tested the IFC model in Tekla BIMSight, and the model doesn't show the internal walls when the elevation field is used to filter the data.

Hope the images below will clarify a bit, any help appreciated as not sure if there is an error on my part, or a glitch in the software.

From your description (and the screenshots), it looks like you want to select items other than IFCWALL (e.g. Axis) that have a Timerline property equal to Elevation 01.

It seems like you could do this by adding a search condition to exclude items with the name IFCWALL.
